To begin with, this is a totally random post.
I was watching television programmes (Paris&Milan on channel 8 was super funny), when I suddenly felt like writing blog. So, don't be surprised if this post end abruptly, as my current mood of writing a post may also vanish (*poof*) in a twinkling of an eye.
Went for CCA camp last Wednesday. It was super fun, especially the night games (although being chased by the "mummy"(the egyptian kind, not the at home kind) twice was too sudden and frightening for me-- hate you green team :P). Needless to say, I also made new friends during the camp. Or at least I hope.
SMP was rather fun too. We caught up a lot with our coding and designing. The food at the hawker centre nearby was cheap and delicious! I am still craving for the hor fun there! It's only $2.50 for a big packet of it! :) :) :)

As for computer games, I've been playing Super Karoshi, Rage 3 (again!), and Restaurant City on facebook. I NEED ONION NOODLES PORK APPLE STRAWBERRY BANANA CHICKEN LEEK FOR MY RESTAURANT. Okay, advertisement time over.
I really have a serious lack of discipline. Evidence? The great "sacred" mountain of homework there. I have yet to even finish any of the holiday homework yet! And here I am writing a blog post! I think I better stop writing this now, cos' my mood of writing post has already long gone. Wonder when I will post again... one month later? Computer games are really really really much nicer than blogging.

I removed the para with the *** as I realised that actually, even if the holiday seems to be very packed, I am actually learning and doing things constructive, and this actually makes the holiday much more fun than spending the days at home doing nothing.

Just 2 things to say:

1. It took me 20.5h to finally fully understand what we actually got since the SYF results was announced at RP.
2. I'm pretty sure I'm going to miss our 2 SYF pieces. A lot.

Yes, now I feel that we have not only achieved much more than Gold in this year's SYF. I am most definitely proud to be under the baton of Mr Sze, and to be tangled in NY strings.

P.S. I sure enjoyed the music on stage! :)
P.P.S. And yes i know that i'm terrible in my language.
P.P.P.S. Okay, I admit. That I have already said more than 2 things.

By the way, if I behave very lamely and ridiculously (such as cracking lame jokes and doing embarrassing stuff), it is usually because I'm feeling very stressed out/in a bad mood. So please do understand. :) I will try to change this flaw too.

AH HA!
I'm finally blogging again! :) After so long....
Well, I was and probably will not be blogging much, as I infinitely prefer playing online (and horribly lame) games to blogging. So... I'll just blog a little when I feel like doing so (like now).

Okay, let's start with 2009! I'm sitting together with baoxian! Yay! :) :) :) It just brings about fond memories of sitting together during P5&6! As for schoolwork, Sec 3 is sure much more challenging than Sec 2, but with all the energy I charged during the December holidays, I think I should be able to survive it! :)

As for the online games that I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I am playing Kingdom of Loathing (www.kingdomofloathing.com) and Dragonfable (www.dragonfable.com). Both of which are very very very very very ( times infinity) lame, and maybe childish and boring to some (but definitely not me). But I wonder why I like playing those games. Perhaps they suit my LAME personality. (haha) Well, let's move on before this paragraph becomes too lame!

CNY is coming!!! But just a few days before, I had sore throat and runny nose and cough! What a disaster it was! I was still worrying whether I could recover in time before Chinese New Year to enjoy those yummy goodies. Fortunately, I have recovered fully (if not mostly) now. So, those CNY goodies better fear the power of my mouth in the coming few days! :)
To PCPS friends: Sorry! I did not go back to PCPS during CNY cos' I was not feeling well. Will go back during Teacher's Day if I'm free!

Okay, better end this post now before my mother starts peeling me off the computer. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! (and good luck for the rest of the year)

姐姐的宠物

啊... 好久没有写博客了...

那是因为我最近没有题材写。

哈哈，猜猜这次我写的主角是谁呢？

答案揭晓...那就是我亲爱的姐姐和她的宠物--毛毛虫!!!

我可没写错哦! 她的宠物的确是毛毛虫!!!

我姐姐很喜欢宠物，看到小狗小猫就会说 "SO CUTE!" 。可是妈妈却很怕它们。结果，姐姐始终不能如愿所尝，养狗、鸟、仓鼠之类的动物。

有一天，姐姐在爸爸的盆栽里找到了几只小毛毛虫。她因此灵机一动，决定养毛毛虫!

过了几天，那几只身体小，但食量很大的毛毛虫，已经把盆栽的叶子吃光了! (可怜的盆栽啊! )

这可把姐姐给急坏了。她像热锅上的蚂蚁似的，到处找着叶子，好让毛毛虫添饱肚子。那些毛毛虫还顶挑剔的，只吃某品种的叶子。

其中一只毛毛虫还因为肚子大饿，而爬出盒子外! 这可把我和妈妈吓了一大跳!

可是，苍天不负苦心人。姐姐终于在组屋楼下的某个地方找到叶子，给她的"宝贝儿"吃。

当小虫变成美丽的蝴蝶后，姐姐很依依不舍地放生了。:'(

可是，过了不久，爸爸又在他的盆栽里找到了几只毛毛虫!

我的天啊!

英文: 一篇理解问答。还满好的...

华文: 两份阅读报告--读两篇文章和写它的主要内容、读后感和所学的生字，与一份阅读理解！好多啊！可是，我一直以来都有阅读很多本华文书的，对我来说写阅读报告应该不会难倒我！

科学: 练习上学期的物理测验。

地理：一份专题作业--和小组一起到武吉知马自然保护区做实地考察。好期待哦！！！我从来都没有去过那里！*兴奋*

历史：练习去年的历史考卷。还满"okay"的。

数学：练习去年和前年的数学考卷，与一份作业。

中华文化: 一份文化常识复习题。

最后，当然也少不了为年尾考试，做准备的冲刺！！！

啊...只有一个星期的假期...却有那么多功课! 我的九月假期泡汤了！:(

可是，只要全力以赴，必定会成功！！！v(^.^)v

三千烦恼丝

I know that it's a little late... but I would like to announce that...

I'VE CUT MY HAIR

really short!

The reasons for cutting my hair are :
1. due to the hot weather of Singapore. With my long hair around my neck, I always feel as if I'm in a desert. With short hair, I sure feel much cooler now!
2. so that I need not wake up that early in the morning to tie my hair before going to school.
3. my long hair has been going haywire, and I decided to cut it so that I would not look like a mad woman on the street with my long messy hair flying around! *laughs*
4. Last but not least, having short hair will be much much more convenient for me to manage during the New York Trip coming up!

Oh yah... there's only about 2+ weeks to Carnegie Trip (New York). It's our CCA overseas trip, and I'm sure that we will all benefit a lot from it...
And have lots of fun too!

P.S. JIE!!! WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO CUT YOUR HAIR SHORT LIKE ME???

String Soliloquy!

Hi people!!!
I participated in a concert, String Soliloquy, last Saturday.
It is a solo concert.
(pause)
At first, I was really afraid that I will have stage fright during the performance and forget my notes. But fortunately, I couldn't see most of the audience due to the lighting.
Phew....
Anyway, the performance went well (although my sister said that my cousin (a basketballer) was daydreaming throughout the concert), and I survived being on stage!

Oh yah! My pianist is Kai Lin from class 209! She's my primary 6 classmate, and she plays the violin! :D

大家圣诞节快乐!
"叮铃铛，叮铃铛"圣诞节的钟声响起来了。昨晚在爷爷的家，开了一个小小的圣诞派对。长辈们都淮备了丰富的食物，而我们小孩子的任务，是要淮备唱歌、表演和一些游戏等等，让大家都感染了浓浓的佳节气氛。促进了彼此之间的凝聚力。
我收到了一些圣诞礼物，其中有一个是我梦寐以求的礼物，是我爸爸送给我的游戏机。哈哈!

Belle Musique

Yesterday (Friday), my CCA (String Ensemble) had our first chamber concert, Belle Musique at YMS. I'm rather sure all those who went to school during the holidays must have seen a poster around the school "advertising" about this.
My family and grandfather went to see me perform there. The YMS Auditorium is really really small... so much smaller than Nanyang Auditorium. However, I was rather relieved. If it was as big as Nanyang Auditorium, I'm rather sure that there would be an ambulance rushing to YMS and bringing a girl who fainted with her cello on stage to some hospital. Just kidding. :P For your information, a chamber concert is made up of several quartets (group of 4), trios (group of 3) and solos. I was playing in a quartet, and it isn't nice to be on a stage with only 3 other people and hundred of people staring at you.
And worse still, our quartet was the first performance.
However, I still survived it miraculously and played two movements. I think that our performance was rather good and the concert went on smoothly. I'm glad that the concert is over, it was rather stressful but I gained a lot of experience and was much bonded with my cca-mates.
P.S. Reading a nice book lately! And it is for 10-12 yrs old as classified by the library! Haha!

Hui Yun: My sister very good wan... it's good to be jealous! :P Just kidding. I was rather busy lately, so I left my blog alone for a while. Ya... very long never see you liao.... and hope you will recover from your flu soon! :) (And dun spread the flu to me hoh! Lol) See ya next year!!!

我的妈妈从家庭主妇成为工作人士已经三个多月了，从中让我学习了怎样独立。从小妈妈无微不至的照顾我和姐姐，现在她去做工，我当然很不适应。幸亏我有一位好姐姐，时常代替妈妈照顾我，例如昨天一早我要回去学校参加课外活动，姐姐没有上课，可是她还是很早起身做早餐和照顾我。
我想以后，应该不要再作弄姐姐了(嗯........还是先考虑考虑吧! ) :P

Choral and Drama Night

On 6 Nov, 107B (the group I'm in) performed our chinese play for Choral and Drama Night.
Well, the play took place a long long time ago, when birds and insects had yet to get their wings. A little boy went all about selling wings to birds and insects without asking for any money in exchange. At last, the boy died but the birds and insects found a pair of white wings and put it on him. The boy hence became an angel because of his good deeds.
Our performance was the first that day, which made me rather nervous. I was also on stage without my spectacles. It was a MIRACLE that I didn't tumble down the stage during the play due to my horrible eyesight. The play still went quite well, although I still could not understand why the audience laugh when we sang a fast song during the play. Also, I did not forget my 2 lines of words! Yay! v(^.^)v
After that, we went into LT1 to support our other half of the class, who were performing after us! Their performance was great too! :)

Oh well... the holidays are here. Yay.
However, I will still be rather busy during the holidays with CCA practices and holiday homework. And oh ya, grade 5 theory.
Now, I'm listening to The Click Five's songs. Their songs are really nice and I'm probably getting addicted to them. Just kidding.
About my results... it was rather good, but some of the marks were a great pity. A little more and I would have achieved my dream of... not telling you what it is! :P By the way, I got a D for PE. Expected it anyway.
Ohh... all of a sudden I could not think of anything else to write. Guess I'm having my blog-block now. So I shall reply my tags now!!! :) See ya!

考试终于过了!!!我要跳进电脑游戏的旋涡里了!!! (当然是开玩笑的)
现在我所知道的考试成绩还是满理想的。只剩下英文、地理和历史挂着一个大问号。

邓老师要我用华文写网志，练练笔。现在想想，我在中学时真的很少使用华文和华语。就说一些例子吧! 我通常用英语和朋友沟通和写网志。我也通常看英文新闻和报章。
所以，我打算有时用华文写网志，当着是一个练习，来提高我的华文程度。

AHH!!! Holidays are ending!!! And less than a month to EOY exams!!!
I really hope that this holiday will keep repeating itself, protecting me from the deadly EOY exams.... TT.TT
Well, let's keep all these sad things aside and allow me to comment on my organ exam. My organ exam was.... fine? I really am not sure. I kept playing the wrong keys for improvisation (mine has 3 flats), repeating my sight playing, playing the wrong pedals for my song. Only arrangement and melody hearing was fine! I will most probably receive my scores on Term 4 Week 2. So.... good luck to me! Hope I'll pass!

My Organ Grade 7 Exam is COMING!!! In just 2 days!!!

Now, I can vaguely remember of my last organ exam. All I can remember are 2 very stern examinor with you in a quiet, small room, a book with all the tested things inside and an organ.
And I can still remember my frantic, frightened and blank mind then.

Grade 7 Exam is much much harder than my previous grade 8 exam (it goes from Grade 13 to 5. Grade 5 is diploma).

I wonder whether I will pass.

Hi!!! While I'm writing this blog, Jie is now at some concert hall far far away for her Guzheng stuff. So, I can sneakily write (no, TYPE) about something funny which happened today.

My sister is addicted to fruit drops, a type of sweet. Today, my sister ordered me to buy a can of fruit drops when I'm accompanying my mum to the market. Hence, mum and I played a trick on her. When we came back, we put the can of fruit drops which we bought on the table and lied to her that the fruit drops were all sold out and might not be sold again. And my sister really BELIEVED us!!! Her whole face went black and she told us NOT to touch her remaining fruit drops anymore! So STINGY!!!

Then, mum and I started to give her obvious clues to let her notice the fruit drops. Firstly, I asked her to prepare a drink with me, to no avail. Then, my mum asked her to take the eggs. The fruit drops is right BEHIND the eggs, yet she did not spot it. My mum, who is stifling her laughter, asked her to count the number of eggs left. It was only after a few repeats did she spot out the sweets!!! Upon knowing the truth, she was soooo happy that she hugged us many times!!
HAHA!

AHH!!!
School is already starting TOMORROW!!! And I still can't get over the holiday mood.
It's like.... 6days is gone in just a second... a twinkle of an eye...
Okay, today I saw a video of a very very professional 5 yr old kiddie playing the organ. And I was stunned by how she played.
I started learning the organ at 6 yr old. And even at 7 yr old I could not play like her.
She's a TALENT!!!
But she's very cute anyway....haha!

To be exact, the WHOLE term is practically overflowed with tests. I'm going to have maths test next week. Wish me good luck!
History test is sooo hard. And they only give you 40 min to finish it!!! Luckily I had 中华文化特备课程 during primary school. It helped me understand China history much easily!
As for India History, I can only start memorising about Chandragupta and Ashoka and Kautilya when the tests are coming. :P
And I urgently need a break from all these tests. A long nice one for me to inhale some air before moving along with the hectic life.

Hi! Just came back from Kelong. If you are thinking that Kelong is a modern place with hotels and air-cons and computers and bathtubs and stuff like that, you are absolutely wrong.

Kelong is a basically a village on the sea. It is made of wood and the main purpose to go there is just to fish, fish and fish. You don't get your own room. It is like some Shaolin temple-- there are double-deckered beds in one whole room.

However, I had a nice time there. It is really much much more peaceful than Singapore. I fished up quite a number of small fishes there too! Here are some photos of Kelong.

Today I finally realised why we were one of the tops for the most uncourteous people.
And why we were found to be one of the tops for the people who walk the fastest.
I had CIP today--Street Sales for the Children Cancer Foundation. Sounds easy? In reality, it is totally the OPPOSITE!!!
Majority of the people whom we approached in Toa Payoh Centre either smiled and said that they have no money, or say "no thank you" to us. Some just held up their hand or practically ignored us! Some also started to turn away like a snake whenever they see us.
However, they are still some kind souls who donated or bought our things. Especially one Malay woman, whom I still remember til now. She wanted to buy 1 teddy-bear ($5) from me at first, but she only had a $10 note. And guess what she did! She bought 2 of them!!! This type of people has long been endangered from the face of earth! She also gave us the motivation to continue our Street Sales! :)
I learnt a very important lesson today.... Charity is never never easy. Especially with the society we have now.

My dad couldn't come along as he had lessons in the morning.
My mother chatted with Mrs Wong for only about 5 min... or even less?
And Mrs Wong told my mother about my conduct.

Yeah... suddenly got the inspiration to blog.
Today I had a terrible terrible ordeal.

But I still can't get over that line!!! Wonder how others manage to do it...
As for now, I can only wait for a retake.

Well, seemed ages since i blogged, eh?
During that 'ages', many many many things happened. Countless.
One very important thing which happened is that I had my term 2 tests.
And I'm pretty happy about the marks. (although I had deproved for some)

I've also had my string ensemble assessment and I entered into ME (main ensemble).
It was really really freaky. It is like, you and the super fierce conductor locked in a small room.
And you got to play a piece for him.
Great.
After that, he told me to play the F and G major scales for him. And I played soo out of tune that he said, "Too high!!!"
However, he let me enter ME?! Is it a miracle or what?

It was Mothers' day today. Hence I secretly told my dad to buy a cake for her. And when my mother saw it, she was well, normal. Not as shocked or surprise as I've thought. Anyway, here's a picture of the cake.

NYSE (nanyang string ensemble) GOT GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!
Well, today I went with my seniors to the Singapore Conference Hall to help them with the SYF competition that day.
And we got it, gold with honours.
Nothing much to say actually. :P

P.S. I saw Kay Yi as a helper with her school's (RGS) string ensemble!!! I wanted to talk to her at first, but after looking at my other cca-mates' faces upon seeing them, I decided to control my legs from moving and shutting my mouth up. They got gold at last.

Jie jie is very busy these few weeks..... She will be having her guzheng SYF soon. She has got to juggle not only her guzheng practice, but also her homework and her coming exams... Poor thing. She always sleep much (infinity times) later than me....
This makes me ponder and think -- when I am Sec 3, will I be as busy and stressed up as Jie, just for string ensemble SYF?

Btw, last Sunday, my mother went out to grandma house. So, my "marvelous" Jie became the cook of the day, while I became her assistant. Well, I nearly destroyed the whole lunch. One of them is that I told my sister to keep adding more water for the vegetable until the whole dish became pratically tasteless. Hence, I added soya sauce on my own, hoping to give jie a surprise. But who knows, when we tasted it, the vegetable was too salty and the gravy was too much. So, Jie sterned gravely at me and said, "Mei, you DESTROYED the WHOLE DISH!!!" And I was there, struggling to keep a straight face. Haha!

Actually, the most exciting event is the SEAL Sports Programme
There, we climbed Mount Faber, then had an amazing race and lastly had a GREAT time at the POOL after such a HOT DAY!!!
It is just so great, plunging into the pool... the feeling I had then was unmeasurable!!!
We also had many nice activities at the pool, like many people squeezing on a big "raft"
Having a dragon boat race using floats
And many more!!!
But the other events are fun too!
Like going to Pasir Ris Park, having telematch etc
But... HOME IS STILL THE BEST!!!!

I just had my exams and enjoyed the extremely short CNY holiday
The exams' marks did not make me grin like a mad fool though

No wonder teachers at nanyang had been saying this,
"Being in sec school, your 90++ marks days are already history."

Similarly, I just felt that there's something wrong with this year's cny holiday
Is it because the holidays are too short?

There goes 2006... a year filled with memories and fun in PCPS.
Here comes 2007, another year bound to be filled with more challenges and obstacles to overcome.
It is sure a big gap to overcome from 2006 to 2007.
1. From Primary school to Secondary School
2. Goodbye to meeting boys in school
3. Buses a must to go to school
4. More subjects to learn (oh no)
5. Waking up earlier and reaching home later = more time in school
But there is one similarity between 2001-2006 and 2007 which my mum hates.
The uniform for both schools are the same ol' white, making it very difficult to wash.
Haha.

Hi all!!! I'm back!!! I sure miss 6a' 06 and all teachers who have taught us. :'(
Note: This post (excluding the sentences above) is actually dedicated to my dearest elder sister, who always squeals, "SO CUTE!!!" ("SO CUTE" in webdings) whenever she sees dogs and cats lying all lazing around the ground and will stop there to look at them till I pull her away. Sometimes, even after seeing them, she will tell me that how cute it is, how furry, how adorable until I am so fustrated that I shout at her to keep quiet.
Yesterday, my uncle brought my cousins , my sister and I to the pet shop. ( To me, it was a SERIOUS mistake to bring her there) There, we saw a very well-trained and obedient dog at the counter. It did not run about at all and stood quietly there. I was surprised to see that as I expected it to make a BIG tantrum. When my sister saw it, she kept saying the words I dreaded most: " SO CUTE!!!"
When she went home, she told my mother how cute the dog was, then to my father. And this morning, she woke up early to go for her school's Guzheng lesson and the first thing she said even before brushing her teeth was " Mummy, that dog is SOOO CUUTTEE!!!!!" Worse still, she said SO LOUDLY that she woke me up with a bad headache. I really felt like shouting, " JIE!!! STOP SAYING THAT AGAIN!!!!"

Yay!!! New blogskin! I changed my blogskin for fun as I was really bored! Niicccee? heeehee
Last Saturday, I went to the my dad's company's charity fun-fair with my sis and mum. When my dad told me that there would be a fun-fair, at first I still thought that it would be those thrilling fun-fair, with fast moving games and lights all about. I was dismayed when I saw that it was a really simple one, with no thrilling things at all. It has only booth games and some food stalls. Soon, we bid Dad goodbye and went off to shop.(My Dad is a volunteer there and is in-charge-of the hole-in-one golf booth game.)
We went to Takashimaya nearby to shop. There, I saw a GIANT christmas tree!!! It is sooo nice!!! I have to tilt my head up to see the top! I would have brought it home if I could!!!

Yesterday was sure a very tiring day! At about 11.00 am, my mum and sister took me to Loyang Point to play a few pieces on the electone (organ)there. Well, I got the chance to perform with 6 other people as it is part of the celebrations for the new look of Mcdonalds @ Loyang Point. When I reached there after boarding Bus 88 to Pasir Ris interchange and then transfering to Bus 6, I found that Loyang Point isn't as nice as I thought! It is neither as good as HDB Hub nor Junction 8 and there are so few shops on the 2 levels!
Back to the topic. After eating and practising, I went with 6 other organists to perform. We all played one by one. I played the two songs, To heart and Libertango. I was really nervous on the stage but luckily, I managed to "survive" and played the songs with some minor errors. The funny thing was when I opened the song sheet for Libertango which is 7 pages long, most of the audience gasped. Haha! :)

After performing, I went to my great grandmother house to celebrate her 82nd birthday. There were sure many people there. I had a great time at the buffet and playing with my cousins!

The whole world is biased... everybody. I think I better not dwell on that few horrible events today.
My mother is scared of dogs, while I don't really fancy dogs. However, surprisingly, my dear sister is totally opposite from us. She LOVES dogs and any other animals. Whenever she sees a cat or a dog on the road, she would squeal, "SO CUTE!!!" and stay there looking at that animal. She wants to be a zookeeper when she grows up. I will encourage her to take up the job of feeding the lions. HAHAHA!!!
Back to my mum. Whenever Mum sees a dog running towards her,whether big or small, she would scream and run away. Luckily there's the "invicible" two (my sis and I) to protect her from those furry pets.
For today, my sister will be staying at her class chalet. So, the com is MINE for today and tomorrow!!! NOBODY CAN SNATCH IT AWAY FROM ME!!! HAHAHA!!!

Oh yeah, PSLE is over for a long long time. And for the first time, I'm feeling extremely BORED!!! I've been long awaiting this day, but too much play makes me faint. With no homework at all, the "Peining" machine is going to break down anytime. Seems that my sister's prediction IS coming true... ...
By the way, my grandpa is asking my sister and I to go to China to see our relatives there. I'm okay about that. However, that's not all! We are NOT going with our parents there at all! We are going to be on our OWN..... My father has been very busy with his work and could not afford a leave. As for Mum..... she doesn't like spending time to see relatives overseas. You may say that I'm a mummy's girl, but I actually can go there with my sister. But worse still, my sister might not be able to go there. She has to attend her Guzheng lesson........
I never want to go overseas alone without any close family members. I have no privacy with my relatives.
About friendster (a website where you makes friends, not a chatroom), my "dearest" Jie has been spending time dolling up her profile as she likes that (unlike me, I prefer playin' games). And the result? Three strangers have added her as their friends only in this month!!! 3 STRANGERS IN THIS MONTH! So, she could do nothing but to only open her profile to her friends. I was thinking, why do you want to doll up your profile and then just open it to a few people? Why not just let everybody see your own masterpiece? Dotz right?

Audition & Pangya

Hiie! I'm back! Now, to spend the time, I'm playing Auditionsea and Pangyasea. And you know, they are all great games!!!
Auditionsea is practically a dancing game. It may sound simple but it isn't! I always have trouble pressing the arrows and hitting the spacebar on time with a fast speed. My sister's even worse. She cannot dance any higher than 90bmp.HAHAHA! Her fingers are just like a bunch of bananas! Alright, back to the topic. Although Auditionsea is fun, I can't play it for too long as it is too glaring and therefore bad for my eyes. Also, the avatars (clothes and accessories) are too expensive! I need LOTS of den (money) to buy the things I want. Sigh....

About pangyasea, it is just a golf game. The hard thing is that you have to calculate your distance (mentally and without any ruler) while considering the wind and the slope etc. I'm now Begginer E and I had just bought the new character, Kooh. She is rather cute but a little weird.

I sure had a GREAT time after PSLE. NO homework, NO exams, NO banning on the com, NO mum's nagging.... JUST FREEDOM!!! YAY!!! Okay, after so much crap, let me say about the things I did.
Last Friday (13/10), I went to J8 with some of my friends to watch the movie, Rob-B-Hood. It's sure a great movie. Especially the baby. IT'S SO CUTE!!! I sure can't resist pinching his cheeks when I see him! :P
And on the next day (14/10), I went to Cafe' Cartel at J8 (again) with my family. While we were eating our food there, Dad asked Jie a question: Do you want to do a holiday job? That sure "stunned" me. Upon hearing this, I near-to-immediately said,"I heard nothing!" Dad's motive is not on the money, but it is to let Jie know the difficulty of earning money. Poor ol' Jie! Btw, Jie had already taken down her "metal teeth"(braces), so no more calling of "metal teeth". WHAT A TRAGEDY!!!
Well, even it's only a few days after the PSLE, I'm already feeling a tinge of boredom, especially at school. I'm already sick of playing Uno, sick of watching other people play Chinese Chess, sick of stacking cards into a tower. Just sick, sick, SICK! Well, now I can only hope that I can survive these days and not die of boredom......

She's really hoping to get good results (just like me) for she's afraid that (just like me) Dad will scold her (just like me). She's had already experienced that at her previous exams (unlike me).

Oh yeah... nothing to sae....
Now I'm listening to "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter. Yeah.... I had a not bad, but HORRIBLE day today. Okay, wanna noe abt it? If yes, read on. =.='''
Today, my family and I went to Toa Payoh Central to check on my bossy elder sister's metal teeth (braces). Dotz. And the WHOLE family had to wake up early in the morning JUZ for her metal teeth. Isn't it lame???
Well, that's not the bad thing. After checking on my sister's metal teeth, we went to HDB Hub's Burger King to have our breakfast. Okae, here it comes. When I strectched my hand to get my Ice Milo, I ACCIDENTALLY tipped my dad's coffee. Fortunately, the cover was very tightly kept on top of the cup. So only a teeny weeny bit spilled out. *phew*
Then, I got my burger and started eating it while drinking my Ice Milo and eating some fries. However, the mayonnaise in the burger started dripping out. That wasn't so bad, actually. My dad then took my burger to adjust it so that the mayo will stop dripping out.
Okae, here come's the worst one which DESTROYED my whole dae. When I took my burger back, I ACCIDENTALLY SPILLED MY ICE MILO!!! ********
Rather tragically, the cover of the Ice Milo wasn't tight enough. And I'm sure u noe wad happened. A splash was heard. The whole floor, my pants and shirt was brown and sticky. My mum then took me to the toilet to squeeze as much Milo as possible from my clothes. This's just like using a stone to cover the sea. Juz 1 word. Hopeless...
I then went back to Burger King. The floor had already been clean. With my dirty shirt pants and all, I ate my once delicious burger which now seemed tasteless to me. After eating, I went back home straight with my family to clean my clothes. If this incident hadn't happened, I could have now been blabbing and blogging on the Project Superstar Audition instead of this horrible dae. I really hoped that nothing like this had happened at all, needless to say in the future.

It's been a long time since I updated my blog, so let me refresh my blog wif this new post!
Last Sundae, my dad brightened up our meals with his magical, perfect, yummilicious PEPPERED FISH!!! This is the 1st time I tried his cooking (excluding oats which is being cooked for breakfast) for these 11+ years. And the result? DELICIOUS!!! My dad learnt this recipe from one of his colleague.

I just can't stop cheering!!! YAY!!!
Ahem, sorry abt the above words. Just too excited. :-P Well, actually i shouldn't be so dat happi, cos' dere's still Prelim 2 and worse still, PSLE!!! *sob*
I can still remember when I was having oral exam, my cousin, who was being tested at the same time at me (what a coincidence!), said, "Peining, you noe, during the oral, you read very loud. It even interrupted me!"
What! I dun think that I said so that LOUD, even if it is, her examinor who had came to tell me abt that! Anyway, it's also gd that I said loudly. It's sure much better than just whispering.....
As for the exams, it's still quite ok, except for the MATHS PAPER!!! IT'S SO DAMN DIFFICULT!!! I was scratching my head through most of the question! I dun even noe how to do the last few question!!! I even doubt if there's even an answer to that questions!!! Worse still, I found that I had lost over than 10 marks!!! I am doomed!!! ARGH!!!
The only gd thing abt now is that i can relax for a short while....Prelim 2 is coming soon.....
It's so hard being a P6 student.......

A perfectly normal week

Well, this week is soooo normal. Just like a normal week, except tomorrow I am going to my gu gu house to see Xiaoqiang and Joan's new bornd daughter and son (they are all chinchillas). Btw, Xiaoqiang has just died abt 1 week ago. To my upmost dismay, Xiaoqiang is my sister's favourite and precious chinchilla, so she was moaning and grumbling all dae long. I olso saw her cry secretly when she knew abt the bad news. Haha! As for me, my steel heart was not affected at all, not even a single tear was shed. Muahaha!!!Back to the topic, the twins consist of one black and one white chinchilla. One like the papa, Xiaoqiang n one like the mama, Joan. My sister is soooo desperate n excited to see them.

P.S. While I am riting this blog, my sis is begging my father to buy a Gundam Seed model for her. SO NOISY!!!

NYGH Written Test

Well, as I'm writing this blog now, some of my classmates are still having the written test at Nanyang Girls' High School. As I was among the top 30 in the SMBO (as mention in the other blog), I do not need to go for the English and Chinese Test and I only went for the maths test!!! Hooray!!!
I saw many of my friends at Nanyang. :) Fancy thinking that I will be the only PCPS student there... POO! haha! Sadly, the Maths test IS SO DIFFICULT and it's no joke. I was scratching my head throughout most of the questions. I did not have enough time to do 3 questions which is of 3 mark each. AHHH!!! 9 MARKS GONE!!! *sob* Well, the happy part is that I managed to solve 1 question, which should be learned at Secondary schools! All thanks to my sister's online maths homework! I looked at her do them when I was bored and I learned it!!! :)
However, worst is, there is 776 Pr.6 students participating in the DSA!!! I can never get over this shock!!! 775 students competiting with me in the DSA!!! Oh my god!!!

P.S. Did you realise that I didn't use any singlish in this blog. This is meant for any nerds who does not know singlish, in the request of Deng Lao Shi, my CL teacher! No offence!!! :P

CO's performance

Yesterday night,my Chinese Orchestra team-mates and I went for the Chinese Orchestra SYF performance at the Singapore Conference Hall. My grandparents, my parents and my sister went dere to support me. It is rather scary on the stage though, with hundreds pairs of eyes staring at u.
Altogether, there are 5 schools (including us) there performing. Just for this performance, we hav practised quite a lot of times. At least, I hav gotten a large bite of the sweet fruit of our hard labour.
The next perforance we are having is the Opening of the New Sport Hall performance. Both performance fell on two Friday nights. Hence, I miss my organ lessons. Haix.. :-'( Well, after that performance, I will be saying "bye-bye" to Chinese Orchestra and concentrate on my PSLE. :-)

I have made some changes in my blog which is sooo obvious, actually there's no need 2 sae
Ahem, I had made 6 changes in my blog to start a new month. (duh...)
1. I had made some scrolling gliterring words which said "Welcome to my world" at my welcome page. I found the website at my previous blog, that sitting alone wan. Then I just put it here. Nice?
2. There is a countdown to my birthday at my welcome page. Well, my birthdae is on 23 September and I had countdown it to everything til the second. Also found it at the "sitting alone" blog.
3. Also, a small little cute moving star is added beside my countdown. Cute? I found it from someone else's blog.
4. There also got a counterat my welcome page, which counts how many people who have seen my blog. Found it at someone else's blog. However, I found that most of he people looking at my blog is myself...
5. I'm sure u can here the song being played now. It is the song from the Chinese show(not drama)"Spirited Away" It's soooo nice. A must watch show! I found this song from a blog at blogskins.
6. Last but not least, it is the blog u r looking at now. lol =.=''''''''

Chalet

Didn't update blog for a very long time cos' I had no time n spent all my com time on playing Pangya.
Btw, I went to Downtowneast chalet in the Monday afternoon. Went to play at Escape Theme Park for the rest of the afternoon.I was wet at the Wet n wild n was sprayed by my elder boy cousin nicknamed 'Pan_pan' (wat a sissy name for aquas)
On Tuesday, I went to Wild Wild Wet for the whole dae. I played all the things dere except for Jacuzzi. The 'Slide-up' was the most scary. It is too free. Imagine that u r siting on an rubber boat n was suddenly zooming down from the sky to the ground and back up to the sky with only seat belt on ur body. I was lyk screaming throughout the whole trip. We went there once n nv wan to play there again. However, I got quite a nice time having revenge there for the Escape Theme Park thing, I was putting extra floats onto Pan_pan when he was hiding under floats trying to capsize other victims on floats at the Shiok River. I also splashed a lot water on him. Haha!
P.S. Managed to advance to Rookie D for Pangya, but dun feel like playing Pangya anymore...

Pangya rox!!!

Well, todae I played Pangya, a com download. Something lyk Gunbound and maple, but is of golf type. My cousin recommended this to me, and my sis helped me 2 download n u noe wat? IT ROX!!! I was at the Rookie F level, then before battling with others. I did a tutorial. It is quite easy to learn how to play. And u can choose the type of club u wan, n each club will bring the ball into a different distance, including the amount of force u use. If u hit the accurate point there will be a sound of 'Pangya'. So damn nice.
There are 5 awards u can get when u fight with others. They are 'Birdie',' Par', 'Boogey', 'Double Boogey' and 'Triple Boogey'. If u hit the ball in the hole before the fixed no. of tries, u get 'Birdie', at the fixed amount of tries u get 'Par', one try more n u get 'Boogey' , one try more 'Boogey' and u get 'Double Boogey' and for Triple Boogey i no need 2 sae. I kept trying to battle with others, but only could get more 'Pars' and 'Boogey' than 'Birdie' *sob*
But I still got quite a nice time. In reality, I hold the golf stick lyk a broom. But in Pangya, I need not worry abt that!! ;) Wanna play it tomorrow,think I am addicted to Pangya liao...

Hi, I'm yet back again.... I hav decided to make a questionarre of meself, but put in a form of tv show way. So, lie back and take a coffee or whatsoever and "appreciate" this "play".

Setting: In a tv studio, there is a TV host, one reporter named Navi Mcduckie, a few bodyguards and the notorious convict, Peining.

TV host:Ladies and gentlement, boys and girls, gays and lesbia...

Navi and Peining( from backstage): Oi, cut that laggy intro lah!

TV host muttered some swear words and continues

TV host: Ahem, fine. Let's invite Navi Mcduckie and Peining onto the stage!!! Please applause!!!

No applause was given by the audience. The TV host went down the stage and Navi Mcdukie and Peining went onto the stage and sat on the seats provided immediately.

Navi: Hi, Peining. What's your name?

Peining: I'll punch u if u continue that.

Navi: Okay, stay calm. Hi "I'll punch u if u continue that", When's your birthday.

Peining: Stop that!!!!

Navi: Fine. Peining, when's your birthday.

Peining: It's on 23 September, dumb-dumb.

Navi: What, you call me a dumb-dumb!!!

A fight broke out on the stage and the bodyguards went to stop them from fighting. Both people soon remained calm and continued the interview.

Navi: What do you adore and hate?

Peining:I'll not answer that, please go and see my profile for these answers.

Navi(trying to keep calm): Okay, in your family, who do you like most?

Peining: I like my sister most, cos' she won't scold or beat me, but my mum would.:-p

Navi: Who's your best friend in class?

Peining: It's Baoxian. Cos' she always eat lunch and chit-chat with me more than the others.

Navi: Who u hate in class?

Peining(reluctant to answer): Well, other than the people stated in my profile, someboys and you-noe-who (better not sae her name).

Navi(speaks excitedly): Well, do you have a crush in class? Please answer!!!

Peining: To your disappiontment, currently, no.

Navi: But I thought u like -censored- !!! Please reply truthfully!!!

Peining: WHAT!!! ME AND .......

Another fight yet broke out again on the stage. More bodyguards came to stop the fight. Navi got a sprained leg while Peinin got a swollen eye. Despite their injuries, they are still persistent in continuing the interview.

Navi: What's your dream school?

Peining: I dun really hav a dream school....but I still hope to go to Nanyang and RGS!

Navi: What's your dream job then?

Peining: I dun hav any dream job. But I hope that there will be a job for a chatter-box like me!:p

Navi: Well, I think that you r suitable to be a toilet-cleaner.To be exact, toilet-flusher!!!`

Peining: WHAT!!! ME A TOILET-FLUSHER!!!!

Another fight broke out again on the stage. Some bodyguards guided them back-stage so that the audience will not see tham fight. TV host ran forward and grabbed the microphone thrown onto the floor.

TV host: Well, that's the end of the show "Navi and Peining"! Do stay tuned to the next episode(if we hav any)!!! PLEASE APPLAUSE!!!

Yet again. no applause was heard. The show then ended rather successfully, other than those audience demandind for a refund.

Singapore-Malaysian Billingual Olympiad

Well, on 26 May, I just went to school but did not attend lessons. Ya noe why? Cos' I going to the Billingual Olympiad, together with my other 9 classmates. There is 526 people from both Malaysia n Singapore going, n the top 30 people can get DSA to Nanyang or Hwa Chong Institution. Luckily, I am one of the top 30, n the only one who got in from Pei Chun Public School! Yeah!
